Equipment We Service

Pest Control Equipment We Service

Calibration and maintenance is available for all major pest control equipment types used by professional operators, councils, and agricultural businesses in Southeast Queensland. If your equipment is not listed, call 0406 178 471 and we will advise on serviceability.

Pesticide Sprayers

Hand-held and backpack sprayers, drum sprayers, motorised knapsack units, and trailer-mounted boom sprayers. Calibration confirms accurate output volume per hectare or per minute, nozzle condition, and pressure consistency. Worn nozzles and seals replaced during service.

Brands: Birchmeier, Solo, Cooper Pegler, B&G, Strike, and generic drum units

ULV Foggers

Ultra-low volume cold foggers and thermal foggers. Calibration sets the correct flow rate and droplet size for the target product. Output rate is measured and recorded before the calibration certificate is issued. Nozzle cleaning and pump inspection included.

Brands: Igeba, Vectorfog, Swingtec, and compatible generic units

Baiting Equipment

Rodent and termite baiting stations, bait guns, and injection equipment. Confirmed for correct bait volume delivery and trigger sensitivity. Critical for termite baiting programs where incorrect bait volume affects the speed of colony elimination.

Brands: Sentricon, Exterra, Terminator, and compatible accessories

Detection Devices

Termatrac T3i microwave detection units, thermal imaging cameras, and moisture meters used for termite inspections. Function testing, calibration checks against reference standards, firmware updates where available, and written service record.

Brands: Termatrac, FLIR entry-level thermal, and standard moisture meters
Calibration Process

The Calibration Process

Calibration is not just adjusting a dial. Correct calibration requires measuring the actual output of the equipment under operating conditions and adjusting to match the product label rate. An uncalibrated sprayer applies product at the wrong concentration, which is an APVMA compliance issue.

Step 1

Pre-service inspection

Equipment inspected for worn nozzles, damaged seals, blocked filters, hose condition, and any faults that would affect output accuracy. Faults are noted before calibration begins.

Step 2

Output measurement

Actual output is measured against the manufacturer's specification or the operator's target rate. For sprayers, this means litres per minute at operating pressure. For foggers, grams per minute of flow rate.

Step 3

Adjustment and parts replacement

Nozzles, tips, seals, and filters replaced as required to achieve the correct output. Pressure settings adjusted and confirmed. Output re-measured after adjustment.

Step 4

Certificate issued

A signed calibration certificate is issued recording the equipment make and model, measured output rate, adjustments made, parts replaced, and the date of calibration. Suitable for government contract files and APVMA records.

Maintenance Schedules

Recommended Maintenance Schedules

Before Each Season
Full calibration, seal and nozzle inspection, filter clean, output rate test, and certificate issue. Required before any season where product concentrations or equipment may have changed.
Annual (Government Contracts)
Annual calibration certificate required for most Southeast Queensland council and government pest control contracts. We schedule fleet calibration sessions for council operators to complete all units in one visit.
After Significant Use
Sprayers used intensively in agricultural or large-scale commercial programs should be inspected and output-checked every 200-300 hours of operation or when operator notices output inconsistencies.
After Product Change
Any time a different product or target concentration is used, recalibration is required to confirm the output rate matches the new product label requirements.
Service Options

On-Site vs Workshop Service

Most individual units are serviced at our Brisbane workshop. For councils, operators with fleet equipment, or fixed units that cannot be transported, we offer on-site calibration at your location.

On-Site Service

We Come to You

On-site calibration at your depot, yard, or facility. Suitable for councils with multiple units, operators with trailer-mounted sprayers, or fixed equipment that cannot be transported.

FAQ

Equipment Calibration FAQ

How often should pest control equipment be calibrated?
Pesticide sprayers should be calibrated before each season and any time a different product or concentration is used. ULV foggers should be calibrated annually or following any service that changes nozzle or pump settings. For equipment used in government or council contracts, annual calibration certificates are typically required. Call 0406 178 471 to discuss a service schedule for your fleet.
Do you provide calibration certificates?
Yes. A signed calibration certificate is issued for each unit serviced. The certificate records the equipment make and model, measured output rate, adjustments made, date of calibration, and the technician's name. These certificates meet the requirements for government contract compliance files and APVMA record-keeping obligations for licensed pest managers.
Can you service equipment on-site or do I need to drop it off?
Both options are available. Workshop service is available at our Brisbane facility with a 2-3 business day turnaround. On-site service is available for larger fixed equipment, trailer-mounted sprayers, or councils and operators with multiple units that need calibration on the same day. On-site service attracts a travel charge outside the Brisbane metro area.
What equipment brands do you service?
We service all major Australian market brands including Birchmeier, Solo, Cooper Pegler, Strike, B&G, Sievert, and most generic drum and motorised sprayer brands. For foggers we service Igeba, Vectorfog, and Swingtec units. For detection equipment we service Termatrac and standard thermal imaging units. If you have a brand not listed, call 0406 178 471 and we will advise on serviceability.
Do you sell replacement parts for pest control equipment?
We carry common replacement parts for the most frequently serviced brands including nozzles, seals, diaphragms, filters, hose sets, and pump rebuild kits. Parts for less common brands are sourced to order. Call 0406 178 471 before booking a service to confirm parts availability for your specific model and serial number.
